Terms of Service - Custom Packaging Solutions | Boxes & Bags Manufacturer for Your Business

1. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging ScintrixPackaging for the design, prototyping, and mass production of custom packaging boxes, bags, or related materials, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all quotations, purchase orders, and manufacturing agreements.

2. Custom Manufacturing & Proofing

2.1 Digital & Physical Proofs: Prior to mass production, we provide digital proofs and, upon request, physical prototypes. Mass production will strictly not commence until written approval of the final proof is received.

2.2 Color Matching: While we utilize advanced CMYK and Pantone matching systems, slight color variations (up to 5%) may occur due to substrate differences, lamination processes, and ink absorption rates. Such variations are within acceptable industry standards.

2.3 Dimensional Tolerance: Due to the automated folding, gluing, and die-cutting processes involved in packaging manufacturing, a dimensional tolerance of +/- 2mm is standard and acceptable.

3. Order Quantity Variations (Overruns/Underruns)

In custom packaging manufacturing, exact quantity yields can fluctuate due to quality control rejections during the printing and finishing stages. We reserve the right to ship and bill for a quantity within +/- 10% of the ordered quantity. Final invoicing will reflect the exact quantity shipped.

4. Payment Terms & Tooling

4.1 Deposits: A standard 30% to 50% non-refundable deposit is required to initiate raw material procurement and production, depending on the scope of the project. The remaining balance is due prior to shipment, upon presentation of final inspection reports or Bill of Lading (B/L).

4.2 Tooling & Molds: Any custom die-cut plates, printing cylinders, or molds created for your specific project remain the property of ScintrixPackaging unless otherwise negotiated in writing, though they will be exclusively retained for your future orders.

5. Intellectual Property

You warrant that you hold the necessary copyrights, trademarks, and licensing rights for any artwork, logos, or structural designs submitted to us for production. ScintrixPackaging assumes no liability for intellectual property infringement arising from designs supplied by the client. We reserve the right to showcase non-confidential produced items in our portfolio unless a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is active.

Frequently Asked Policy Questions

What happens if I need to cancel an order after the deposit is paid?

Because our packaging solutions are 100% custom-manufactured to your specifications, orders cannot be canceled once raw materials have been ordered or production has commenced. Deposits cover these initial hard costs and are non-refundable. If cancellation occurs before material procurement, a partial refund may be issued minus administrative and structural design fees.

How are claims for defective products handled?

Quality is our priority, backed by our CE certifications and 20 years of factory experience. Any claims for manufacturing defects or shortages must be submitted in writing with photographic evidence within 14 days of receiving the shipment. We will investigate the claim and, at our discretion, issue a credit, refund, or replacement for the defective units.

Who is responsible for shipping delays or customs duties?

Unless shipped under DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) Incoterms, the buyer is responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees. ScintrixPackaging is not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs inspections, or force majeure events. Estimated delivery dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.
